Oh no! I have recently come to the realization that I am, in fact, much more conservative since coming to university. Indeed, the institution that seems to create rabid liberal robots has made me, an incredibly middle line sort of person to wander into what I'm sure many people in my immediate surroundings would call "the wrong side" of the political spectrum.
To be honest here, liberals annoy me so much. It's almost impossible to have an actually intellectually stimulating conversation with one without getting the impression that they are simply regurgitating their party's platform like a mindless drone. I agree, universal health care would be wonderful! Now who gets to pay for it? Who is John Galt? The moment I start talking about how stupid the stimulus package is their eyes roll to the back of their head, they seize up, and their mouths foam as they chant something about how Bush sucks. Guess what buster, I'm not talking about Bush and his shortcomings (or what you see as his shortcomings), but instead I am talking about Obama and his fiscally irresponsible plan to bail out god knows what.
On that note, I should probably go do a couple hours of work somewhere so I get a nice stimulus check. Capitalism at its best- wait no, isn't there another word for that? I can't quite remember...
